Facilities

Adiva is made as per European Standards and ICMR guidelines. This is the only centre in North India that has a modular, high tech, state-of-the-art IVF lab and Gynae O.T. Painted in soothing colours with beautiful décor, the centre looks and feels anything but a hospital.

State of the art facilities-

1) IVF Super Speciality Centre


IVF - OT Complex is designed as per European standards with maintenance of air ventilation. The O.T is equipped with electro hydraulic operating table and C1 series shadow less O.T light. It has a logic 200 probes ultrasound machine for ovum pick up & anaesthesia machine from Datex Ohmeda. The O.T & the Embryology Lab & Cryology room are made up of Granite stone so that dust particles & micro organisms can be easily cleaned.

The IVF equipment is of world class standard that include the K-system from Denmark. The K-system has inbuilt filters and a laminar flow to purify the air. The table can be heated up to 370 C to maintain the temperature of the oocytes & embryo. State of the art equipment includes-

  • The K system also has a humidified CO2 supply so that it acts as a mini incubator. There is a screen attached to the system for teaching purpose.

    Incubators are from Binders. We have 3 incubators. The CO2 & the temperature inside the incubators is well maintained. The CO2 supply is centralized. The oocytes & embryos are maintained in the incubators with 5% CO2 at 370 C temperature.

    RI-ICSI micro manipulator is from UK. Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection is done to improve the success rate. In this a single oocyte is injected with a single sperm.

  • Saturn 3 Laser used for assisted hatching is also from UK. Laser Hatching is done when ever there is thickening of Zonapellucida as in case of elderly women undergoing IVF.

    The sterility of the embryology lab is maintained by the Coda Tower and UV Lights. The centralized AC is fitted with Hepafilters.

    Cryology room contains the programmable CL8800 by Cryologie, Australia. Semen & embryos can be freezed in liquid Nitrogen for years by slow freezing & vitrification.

2) Endoscopy OT


Endoscopy OT is designed to do all Laproscopic & Hysteroscopic procedures, both diagnostic and therapeautic. It has a TRICAM 3 chip camera with 19inch medical monitor from KARL STORZ with electro mechanical G1 Morcellator Rotocut.

Hysteroscopy equipment includes Endomat for advanced hysteroscopic procedure and TCRE procedure. Electro surgical generator (Diathermy) force Fx from valley lab state of the art cautery machine. Anaesthesia is given by highly effective 7100 ventilator by AESTIVA 5 compact machine by DATEX OHMEDA.

OT’s have attached recovery room with Philips monitors on individual beds.

  • Operative Hysteroscopy for septum resection, TCRE, Polyp removal etc
  • Hysteromat for controlled pressure
  • Morcellator for huge fibroids
  • Operative laparoscopy all by Karl Storz

3) Gynae OT


The Gynae OT has been designed by MGI specialist, OT makers of international standard. The OT is equipped with Hepa filters and laminar airflow with planair ceiling. It has a control panel controlling ceiling lights, humidity and temperature, clock and telephone anaesthesia pendant. There are remote controlled electro hydraulic OT tables with sliding top designed for C-arm image intensifier.

4) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU


Neonatology is the specialised care of the sick and the new born including premature and tiny babies. At our hospital we have a 5 bedded NICU unit to provide the specialized care and treatment to the newborns. We have a team of qualified doctors and staff nurses round the clock to manage newborn diseases and emergencies.

The special features and services include:

  • Care of the preterm and low birth weight baby and continuous monitoring with sophisticated Multipara Monitor.
  • Open care servo controlled warmer.
  • State -of -the -art mechanical ventilator.
  • CPAP machine ( Fisher and Paykel ) to support immature baby lungs.
  • Central oxygen, air and suction unit.
  • Syring and infusion pumps for better regulation of i.v. fluids and medication.
  • Regular monitoring by dedicated staffs and doctors.
  • Phototherapy units with special blue lights for Jaundice in newborn.
  • Blood gas analyzing facility.
  • Surfactant delivery in premature babies.

Rooms are fully furnished with excellent ambience, soft light, music, amenities like LCD, refrigerators and automatic beds with remote.

The Suite room is the most luxurious room of Adiva as it has an attached attendant room with a separate entry.

7) Special Semen Collection Room & IUI Room


A dedicated room for semen collection to aid the husband/donor to collect sample in a comfortable environment. It is equipped with the required gadgets like DVD player & literature etc. The IUI facility is attached so that the washed semen sample can be inserted in the adjacent room.

8) Culinary Delight Kitchen Services


Adiva provides nutritious and sumptuous meals to its patients made in their own hygienic kitchen. The kitchen offers an array of varieties to choose from. The dietician sets the menu for the patient as per her liking and taste.

9) Ambulance Service


24 hour ambulance service is available for the patients to deal with any kind of emergency.

10) Medical Laboratory


Adiva is equipped with a medical laboratory where tests are done on clinical specimens of patients by skilled medical laboratory staff.
